About

Creative Wings Project 002 — Malaysia's first national parent appreciation movement through children's creativity.

The Heart of This Campaign

In the rush of growing up — school, screens, schedules — we forget. We forget the warmth of a smile. We forget to look. And sometimes, we forget to say the things that matter most.

“One Smile, One World” (笑一笑,世界更美妙) is built around one simple, powerful truth:

A child's drawing of the smile of their parents, teachers, or someone who deeply inspired them is one of the most powerful messages of peace in the world.

This is not a drawing contest. It is a national movement — a reminder, for children and adults alike, that the simplest expression of love can change the world.

What Your Child Will Do

  1. Close their eyes and remember the smile of a parent, teacher, or someone who inspired them.
  2. Draw that smile on paper.
  3. Write one line about what that smile means to them.

That drawing and message become part of a national gallery of love — Malaysia's emotional archive of 2026.

Why It Matters

The world our children grow up in is full of visible tension — conflict, division, screens full of anger. Yet research consistently shows that emotional connection (especially the parent–child bond) is one of the strongest protective factors for a child's mental health and resilience, and creative expression is one of the most effective tools for processing emotion.

This campaign is aligned with three UN Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 4

Quality Education

Creativity, expression and holistic learning beyond academic performance.

SDG 3

Good Health & Well-being

Emotional expression, mental wellness and resilience through art.

SDG 16

Family & Social Values

Strengthening parent–child bonds; modelling peace and love over conflict.

How It Works

  1. Register

Sign up through this page. Participation fee: RM15. If your school or sponsor has given you an Angel (Sponsored) Code, you can join at no cost.

  2. The Creative Act

Your child draws the smile they remember, and writes one line about it.

  3. School Activation

Participating Public (Government), Private, Vernacular and International schools run on-site drawing sessions guided by teachers, using our ready-to-use School Kit (posters, scripts, WhatsApp templates).

  4. National Collection

All artworks are collected, digitised and curated centrally.

  5. Public Exhibition

Selected artworks are featured in the “One Smile, One World” Gallery in a public shopping mall venue — a national celebration of family, creativity and hope.

What Every Child Receives

  • Official participation certificate with their name
  • A sponsored gift pack upon completion
  • The chance to exhibit their artwork in a national public gallery
  • A spot in the Top 100 Smiles featured across our channels and media

For Schools

Engage your students in a meaningful, turnkey programme. Every school that joins receives:

  • Campaign posters and classroom display materials
  • Teacher briefing guide with a ready facilitation script
  • WhatsApp invite templates for parent groups
  • Per-student QR submission codes (no admin overhead)

1 school ≈ 200 students. 50 schools = 10,000 smiles.

For Sponsors — The Angel Programme

“Your brand sponsors a child's smile — and gives it to the world.”

Sponsors fund participation at RM15 per student and receive:

  • Named brand presence across all physical and digital campaign touchpoints
  • Emotional storytelling assets for CSR communications
  • Named acknowledgement in the One Smile, One World Gallery
  • A formal CSR participation certificate and post-campaign impact report

FAQs

Who can join One Smile, One World?

Primary and secondary students via participating schools nationwide. Adults and university students may register under the Public category. Parents complete online registration after the in-school session using the submission code from school.

What is a submission code?

A 13-digit code from your school PIC, e.g. 0020600100001 (campaign 002 + month + school + sequence). Parents enter this code in My Account → Link submission code.

Is there a fee?

Students from sponsor schools register free using the school WooCommerce coupon. Public or non-sponsored participants pay RM 15 on checkout.

What do I submit?

Your smiling-face artwork is uploaded at school by the PIC. Online you confirm the name, add your heartfelt message, and receive a digital participation certificate after completion.

When is the national gallery?

The 10,000 Smiles Showcase is targeted for November 2026. Top artworks may be featured on the national gallery wall.

Can I change my artwork after parent registration?

Before a parent claims your code, the school PIC can amend the submission using the same code at the staff upload link. After claim, contact Creative Wings admin for changes.

Why a “Smiling Face”?

A smile is simple — but it can carry a powerful message.

For children and young people, drawing a smiling face provides a simple and enjoyable way to express happiness, appreciation, care and positive emotions through their own creativity.

In a world where young people increasingly communicate through screens and digital images, we invite them to pause, observe and create something with their own hands.

Each hand-drawn smile is therefore more than a picture.
It is a small expression of human connection, kindness and hope.

One smile may be small. Together, thousands of smiles can tell a bigger story about the world we hope to create.

Why is there a RM15 participation contribution?

The RM15 contribution per smiling face helps us turn an individual drawing into part of a shared learning and community experience.

Each submission includes:

  • One original smiling-face drawing
  • A personal note from the participant
  • Digital participation / submission through the Creative Wings platform
  • Inclusion in the collective “Smiling Face” showcase
  • Opportunity for selected works to be featured in the year-end physical exhibition, subject to venue and programme arrangements

The contribution also helps support the practical costs of organising the initiative — including platform administration, documentation, curation, exhibition preparation and programme coordination.

We hope every RM15 contribution is not viewed simply as a fee to enter a drawing activity, but as a small contribution towards creating a meaningful platform where young talents can express themselves, connect with others and be part of something bigger.

After the smiling face is drawn, what is the IMPACT?

The drawing is only the beginning.
We hope the initiative creates impact at three levels:

😊 INDIVIDUAL — Minds & Hearts

Young participants have an opportunity to pause, reflect and express positive emotions through art.
They practise creativity, self-expression, appreciation and communication — sometimes without needing many words.

🤝 COMMUNITY — Connecting People

Each smiling face becomes part of a larger collection of smiles from different children, schools, families and communities.
When these individual drawings come together, they create a visual reminder that we may be different, but positive human values can connect us.

🌏 SOCIETY — A Shared Message

At the year-end showcase, individual drawings can become a collective story — shared with students, parents, teachers, partners and the wider community.
Through this journey, Art + Education + Community Participation can become a practical way to introduce young people to values connected with SDG and ESG — caring for people, communities and the world we share.

From One Smile to Shared Impact

Draw a smile → Express a feeling → Share a message → Connect with others → Create positive impact.

We believe meaningful change does not always begin with something big.
Sometimes, it begins with one child, one drawing and one smile.
